Dr. Steven Monda
Optometrist
Dr. Monda received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Dakota in 1986, and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in 1990, graduating with distinction. Dr. Monda is a member of the American Optometric Association and was the recipient for the American Optometric Foundation's Irvin M. Borish award and the Wesley-Jessen Clinical Excellence award in contact lenses. Dr. Monda and his wife, Erin, have two sons, Tyler and Michael. They are members of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoys fishing, skiing, and sailing.
Dr. Joshua Hanske
Optometrist
Dr. Hanske received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College in 2008 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in 2014, graduating with honors. Dr. Hanske is a member of the Minnesota Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and he enjoys practicing comprehensive optometry and caring for patients of all ages. He is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, and the Tomb and Key Honor Society. Dr. Hanske enjoys fishing, hunting, golf, and traveling in his free time.
Dr. Alicia Archibald Swanson
Optometrist
Dr. Archibald Swanson received her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Dakota in 2013 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in 2017. Dr. Archibald Swanson enjoys caring for patients of all ages and managing eye diseases. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Archibald Swanson and her husband, Taylor, feel fortunate to be settling in the Brainerd area and are enjoying their time with family at the lake. Dr Archibald-Swanson also enjoys exercising, amateur photography, the entertainment provided by their two dogs, and baking.
Dr. Taylor Swanson
Optometrist
Dr. Taylor Swanson is an Argyle, Minnesota native and graduated from Stephen/Argyle Central high school in 2009. He attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota and was awarded his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with minors in Chemistry and Business Management in 2013. He then went on to Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon and was awarded his Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2017. Dr. Swanson is a member of the American Optometric Association and his optometric interests include primary care, ocular disease and contact lenses. In his free time, Dr. Swanson enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time with his wife and dogs.
Dr. Michael Monda
Optometrist
Dr. Michael Monda graduated from Brainerd High School in 2010. He attended The University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota and was awarded his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2014. He then went on to Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and was awarded his Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2019. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and Dr. Monda’s optometric interests include primary care, ocular disease, contact lenses, and he provides care for all ages. In his free time, Dr. Monda enjoys fishing, golfing and spending time with his wife and two children.
